Aaron Rodgers hopes to be back for the Green Bay Packers in the month of December.

Rodgers was listed inactive for Thursday’s thanksgiving showdown with the Detroit Lions, for the fourth straight game due to a clavicle injury.

In a interview with ESPN’s Bob Holtzman, Rodgers said that he hopes to play on December 8th against the Atlanta Falcons.

Rodgers did express his concern about his collar bone not being completely healed.

The franchise quarterback returned to practice this past Tuesday, three weeks after suffering his injury against the Chicago Bears.

Matt Flynn will start at quarterback Thursday for the Packers, on the heels of Josh Sitton’s controversial statement about the Lion’s defense.

Despite not winning a single game in Aaron Rodgers’ absence the Packers are still in contention.
