Report: Jay-Z Refused to Perform with Beyonce During Super Bowl Halftime

Honestly, I’m not shocked by this news at all. Reports are coming out that Jay-Z refused to make an appearance during Beyoncé’s Super Bowl halftime performance this past Sunday.
It was originally reported that Hov would be joining Beyoncé on stage to perform their hit song ‘Crazy in Love’, but the rapper decided to pull out at the last minute. A source spoke with Us Weekly saying:
“He wanted that to be her moment and didn’t want to take away from it. She’s been working her ass off.”
Instead of joining her onstage, Jay-Z watched his wife’s Super Bowl performance in a special backstage area with his daughter Blue Ivy instead.
Yet Beyoncé didn’t perform alone. Midway through her performance she was joined onstage by fellow Destiny’s Child members Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland, helping the Super Bowl to become the third most-watched television program in US history.
